Steve Wardle has held a variety of leadership positions in a global context including Regional CEO, where he directed a 100-member organization across Sub-Saharan Africa for Grameen Foundation, a global non-profit focused on technology innovations in financial services, agriculture and healthcare.
While at Grameen, he was also VP of Global Strategic Partnerships, building strategic alliances with multi-national corporations, and Manager of Investments, directing $50 million of debt and equity capital through several impact investment funds. He also served as CFO of SFF S.A., Haiti’s largest financial institution.
Steve began his career in commercial and investment banking, where he focused on corporate acquisitions, restructurings, and capital raising for mid-sized U.S. companies. He has served on the board of directors for three companies, holding positions of board, audit, and risk chairs, and was an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University (SAIS).
Steve earned his MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business (with honors), and his B.S. in Business Systems from Taylor University.
