Satish Movva founded CarePredict when he realized he and his parents needed a better way to be in touch about what mattered most.
He has eighteen years of experience innovating in healthcare and technology.
My latest Company, CarePredict has a simple goal: making it easier to take care of and look out for Seniors. I’ve invented a wearable device called ‘Tempo’, the first designed for the elderly, which learns their activities of daily living and compiles these patterns into an individual’s ‘Rhythm Journal’.
Analyzing these patterns provides meaningful context and early or just-in-time alerts to loved ones and caregivers when things may be going wrong. It’s my best invention yet.
Prior to CarePredict, I founded ContinuLink, an innovative Home-care, Medical Staffing and Hospice IT SaaS platform which processed $550m in customer transactions in 2012. We sold the Company to Procura in 2011 and I exited in 2013.
Innovation and healthcare have been constant themes throughout my career – I’m passionate about exploring and finding new ways to tackle old and new problems. I get a tremendous amount of satisfaction from being both a catalyst and driver of the innovation process.
I’ve got almost 3 decades of progressively senior IT sector experience and have spent the last 2 decades focused on Healthcare. I’ve been fortunate to have more than my fair share of firsts: I developed the first hypertext document management system with relevance ranked search, the first Physician Charge Capture mobile device, a highly innovative and widely acclaimed home care, medical staffing and hospice SaaS platform, and now the first wearable device to monitor Seniors and track behaviors via activity and location within their own home.
