Laura Shapland Laura Shapland is CEO of CareSet Systems, a company that leverages Medicare claims data to evaluate provider networks and identify new opportunities for physician outreach, no integration necessary. Laura previously served as COO at 2nd.MD, a provider of online second opinions from leading medical specialists, which she grew from concept to serving Fortune 500 companies. She co-founded the Health 2.0 Houston chapter, a 1,300+ member organization promoting health IT. Mrs. Shapland holds a B.A. from Rice University and an MBA with High Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Outside of work, she enjoys tennis and tickling her two young daughters until they cry.
